March 19 (SeeNews) - Romania's Mediclim Group, a company active in in vitro diagnostics (IVD), said on Tuesday its consolidated revenue grew to 26.7 million euro ($28.98 million) last year from 24.1 million euro in 2022 on the back of reinvested profits in its core business, continuous employee training and acquisition of high-quality diagnostic equipment.
Another growth driver was the relocation into new offices totalling approximately 6,000 sq m, including a 3,000 sq m warehouse, the company said in a press release.
The group anticipates double-digit revenue growth for 2024, its co-founder and majority shareholder Anda Ciupe said.
"Equipment and reagents for microbiology, immunology, immunohematology, molecular diagnostics and tests for microbiological control of food, water and veterinary diagnostics will remain the main growth drivers in 2024," Ciupe added.
Romania accounted for 87% of Mediclim's revenues in 2023.
Established in 1994, Mediclim serves a wide range of clients including private medical networks and laboratories, as well as public health units in Romania, Bulgaria, and Moldova.
